On the Canby Ferry after a Family FUN Concert, August 2012.
How many Classical small ensembles play in harmony for NINE YEARS with the same personnel? That's exactly what Victoria, Timoteus, Bev & Collin did. We're proud of our past, and looking forward to our future as we welcome Rebecca into the OCP Q Family.

The OCP QUARTET was formed by members of the OREGON CHAMBER PLAYERS in 2002 out of necessity after countless requests from people wanting a string quartet to play at concerts, weddings, corporate parties and other special events. In something extraordinarily rare for a small chamber group, our personnel stayed the same for a decade with Timoteus, Victoria, Bev and Collin.
After Timi's unexpected death in 2012, the three of us decided it would be too difficult to have another violinist try to sit in Tim's spot, so we brought in our dear friend and OCP musician - flutist Rebecca Olson. Tim treasured Rebecca and always loved to perform with her, so it seemed very appropriate. Of course, we also like to be a little bit different than just the typical string quartet, so we all love our new instrumentation of flute, oboe, viola and cello for an infusion of color and elegance.

Dear Victoria and the OCP Quartet - I've finally had a chance to watch our wedding video & I'm simply blown away by the exceptional music played throughout the ceremony & cocktail hour. It was such a joy to have the OCP Quartet with us in Astoria & we will forever be grateful!

"The OCP Quartet of the Oregon Chamber Players played at both our wedding ceremony and during our cocktail hour. We couldn't have asked for a more wonderful, professional, and talented group! The OCP Quartet worked with us for weeks on our playlist and not only made great suggestions, but allowed us flexibility in our choices. We received so many lovely comments about our ceremony and cocktail music and it really set the mood for our wedding day. I was even given a commemorative wedding music sheet with all the pieces that were played throughout the day which I thought was so thoughtful. Thank you for everything OCP Quartet!"

Thank you and to all of the chamber players for providing lovely classical music for Kerry and Jason's wedding. It was all so beautiful and I think all went very well. I regret not meeting all of you but definitely heard and saw your presence. Thank you for making Kerry and Jason's wedding all that they had hoped it would be....All in all we had many compliments of the wedding. It was exciting and enjoyable to plan. We learned so much and especially enjoyed listening to the music--inspires us to listen to more!
Thank you again,

Your amazing music made the entire ceremony even more memorable,
from beginning to end. We appreciate your being able to share
your talents and excellent selection of music with us at Paige and
Eric's wedding. We're so happy that we "found" you through our
friend Amy Rangel, a member of the North Coast Orchestra!

...Your music added so much to the event, and we
are so incredibly pleased with your group....Everyone came up to us
and specifically mentioned how much they enjoyed the music - and how
it took the evening to a whole new level.
Thanks again - very much!

'The kids and teachers all enjoyed your visit to
our school. We feel fortunate that we could take part in such a fun
and educational experience. Many of the kids have had little
exposure to the world of music. We appreciate your time and
talent! Lauren is still talking about her "violin playing". The kids
loved being involved!'

....You guys played so beautifully and added that special touch to
our wedding that we've always dreamed of. When we were watching some
of the raw video footage my brother shot, his high powered
professional mic recorded your music with an amazing quality. You
played flawlessly! ...

"Everyone has commented on how much you added to
the event and how great the four of you sounded. It was lots of fun
and your song selections were great (I am impressed that you could
play Mozart and Gershwin within minutes of each other and have it
sound so natural). Anyway, I am telling everyone the name of your
group, referring them to the website, and encouraging them to attend
your chamber music events. Lynn and I will definitely be attending
as often as our schedules will allow. You are a real treasure within

“A special thanks to the
OCP Quartet who blessed us with a truly special one and a half hour
(+) bouquet of sound in the living room of our Parade Home on VIP
night. (Joplin, Mozart, Gershwin, Pachelbel and more-wow!) Your
variety of musical pieces combined with the talent, skill, and
professionalism of each member held many of our guests completely
spellbound as they meandered through the home. We received many,
many positive compliments for the added air of festivity. Some even
commented that the quality of musical entertainment was the icing on
our cake called “The Highlander”
You have a classy
program, and that contributed to making our home a classy product!
Thank you, Thank you!”
